There are 16 duplex cottages in Padma Resort. Each cottage is made up of a combination of a large bedroom, two single bedrooms and a drawing room. There are also two beautiful balconies and a bathroom. Each cottage made of bamboo and palm wood can easily accommodate 6 people. The cottages are quite neat and tidy. In the rainy season the cottages look like floating islands in the water, and in the winter the cottages are surrounded by colorful flowers. The 12 cottages have been named after the Bengali 12 months and the remaining 4 cottages have been named after the seasons. If you want to be a little more secluded, you can choose the cottages on the west side known as the Bengali month.

Everything you can find at Padma Resort:
To enjoy the breathtaking beauty of the Padma outside the cottage, you can lean your body on the Levis Beach Chair or walk on the shores of the Padma. Padma Resort can be an ideal place to hang out with friends. Here you can play football, badminton, beach volleyball, kite flying, frisbee with friends.
If you want to travel by boat, there are six big boats arranged at Padma Resort. You can go by rubber boat, speed boat or country bait from Padma's chest or you can go fishing by fishing bait. Life jackets have been provided in every batch for the safety of the travelers.

How to get to Padma Resort:
From Gulistan in Dhaka you can go to Louhjong by Gangchil or Hilsa Paribahan bus. It may cost 60 Tk. per person. And if you want to go from Mirpur 10, Farmgate or Shahbag, the independent transport bus will take you to Lohajang.


From Gulistan, you can take the Great Bikrampur Paribahan bus to Mawa Ferry Ghat, reach the Padma Resort in a maximum of 15 to 20 minutes by rickshaw or autorickshaw through the Louhjong crossroads. In this case the road map will be: Mawa Ferry Ghat> Louhjong Crossroads> Louhjong Police Outpost> Padma Resort
And if you take your own car, you will have to pay 60 Tk. toll at two places on the road. You have to go in front of Louhjong police station to park the car. Engine-powered boats and speedboats were found at the mosque wharf near Louhjong police station. You can rent a trawler for 50 Tk. to go to Padma Resort.

From Mawa to Padma Resort from Mawa Ferry Ghat to the resort by its own speedboat directly to the resort. And if you keep it in place before. The resort boats will take you to the shore and then back to the dock. Road from Mawa. On the way you will go to Ghaera Daur / Lohajang by auto or CNG, there you will be dropped off at the trawler wharf, then you will be taken to Padma Resort by renting a trawler for 50 Tk. per person.

Cost of Padma Resort:
It costs 2,300 Tk. (including VAT) to rent a cottage from 10am to 6pm. And after 10 in the morning. If you stay till 10 am, you will have to pay 3450 Tk. (including VAT) for cottage rent. If you want to go around the Padma, you have to pay around 2500 Tk. per hour for speedboat, 1200 Tk. per hour for sampan boat and 800 Tk. per hour for trawler.

Where to eat:
There is a well-equipped restaurant at Padma Resort, where about 200 people can dine together at 20 tables. If you want to eat at this restaurant for lunch and dinner, you have to collect food tokens by paying 350 Tk. including 15% VAT of 300 Tk. per person at the resort office. The lunch menu usually consists of rice, hilsa fry (1 piece), chicken (1 piece), vegetables, salat etc. In this restaurant it will cost 100 Tk. to have breakfast in the morning with vegetables, eggs and tea. Drinking water has to be bought with separate money, which is not associated with food money.


If you want to go to Padma Resort on a public holiday, you must confirm your booking by paying the booking money first. You can also go to the resort to rent if you are vacant.
