The Sundarbans is one of the largest mangrove forest in the world. It covers Khulna, Satkhira, Bagerhat, Patuakhali and Barguna districts of Bangladesh. Sundarbans literally means beautiful forest in Bengal. However, the Sundarbans is also named after the beautiful tree, which grows a lot there.
Rasmela is held every year at Dublar Char. This is the most popular festival. Many people attend this event and enjoy it. The easiest way to get to Dublar Char is the Shibsa route.
Royal Bengal Tiger is the the main attraction of the Sundarbans . But at least you have to see the footprints of the tiger in the Sundarbans. Footprints give the impression that a tiger has crossed this path a while ago. You can also take pictures of these footprints.
You can also visit Dublar Char. This island in the Bay of Bengal is known as Shutkipoli. Every year during the fishing season, fishermen from different places come here and build temporary houses. They collect huge amount of fish from the sea, dry it and sell it in the market.
