Fay's Lake is open to visitors daily from 10:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. The entrance to Fayez Lake was closed at 6 pm on Friday and Saturday. However, if you want to see the whole Fay's Lake, you should go in the morning.
Fay's Lake can be easily reached by CNG or rickshaw from any part of Chittagong city.
Dhaka can be reached by road, rail and air from Dhaka to Chittagong. Saudia, Unique, TR Travels, Green Line, Hanif Enterprise, Shyamoli, Sehag, S Alam, Modern Line etc. are different from Dhaka Saidabad Bus Terminal. Transport AC-non AC buses leave for Chittagong. Foy's Lake is an artificial lake. Foy's Lake covers an area of about 338 acres in Khulshi area adjacent to Pahartali railway station in Chittagong. The distance of this lake from Zero Point in Chittagong is only 6 kilometers. The lake was dug in 1924 by the Assam Bengal Railway Authority. The lake was then known as Pahartali Lake but was later renamed Fayez Lake after a British engineer who designed Foy's Lake
Batali Hill is the highest hill in Chittagong city near Fais Lake surrounded by small hills. There are also lakes called Godhuli, Arunamayi, Mandakini, Akashmani, Alaknanda and Dakshini.
A modern amusement park and several resorts were built on Fayes Lake in 2005. The Foys Lake Amusement Park features a mini zoo, circus swings, roller coasters, bumper cars, huge ferris wheels, dry slides, family trains, paddle boats, and floating water sports. , Pirate ships, boating, landscaping and much more.
